AGRIFORM is a vocational training centre accredited by the Emilia-Romagna Region to provide training activities for continuous and permanent learning, higher education and activities for specific users. The organisation offers funded and/or accredited courses that are linked to the regional system of professional qualifications. Agriform also carries out various market activities related to courses included in the regional vocational qualification system or training activities in various fields, but always related to competences that can be used in the labour market. The main, but not the only, objective of the shareholder structure is to carry out training activities in the agricultural and agri-food sector within the regional guidelines of the Emilia-Romagna Region, with the commitment to always take into account the needs of the sector, giving life to a targeted training system able to meet the increasingly demanding requirements and the real needs of farms.
Recently established (in February 2021), but with a long history and legacy of excellence, the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) is a central pillar of higher education in Hungary and the region, as well as one of the largest agricultural-focused, multidisciplinary higher education institutions in Europe. Its five campuses (Buda, Gödöllő, Gyöngyös, Kaposvár and Keszthely) offer study programmes at all levels from Bachelor to PhD in a wide range of subjects from natural and environmental sciences, food technology, horticulture, viticulture, renewable energy management, landscape architecture, mechanical engineering to rural development economics and social sciences.
MATE emphasises the importance of internationalisation and promotes a wide range of international activities. With partners from almost every continent, MATE students and staff can work on a global scale to gain and share the knowledge essential for success in the globalised world.
NEAGEN is a non-profit civil law company with the aim of creating career opportunities and entrepreneurship for young people in the agri-food sector in Greece, one of the country’s most important industries and the second largest employment sector. NEAGEN is a catalyst for innovation in the agri-food ecosystem in Greece. They enable the empowerment of youth and support the revitalisation of the sector through strategic initiatives that benefit Greek society and have an impact on future generations. NEAGEN’s main activity is to help young people prepare for a career or develop their own agrifood business in Greece by focusing on five main pillars: Workforce Development; Entrepreneurship and Innovation Support; Strategic Initiatives; Rural Development Initiatives; Sector Infrastructure. In recent years, NEAGEN has achieved impressive results, with more than 3,500 young people from diverse backgrounds benefiting from its programmes and events.
